Downstream Equipment
We have been building downstream equipment and tooling for the plastic extrusion industry for 20+ years. We build superior equipment, to ensure many years of flawless manufacturing for our customers. The better we build our customer, the better they build us.
Autowinder
We have multiple versions of the Autowinder, to meet our customers’ needs. The units we have built are semi automated. That means an operator will attach the hose to the coil, press start on the winder, and the winder will wind the product up traversing back and forth. The winders will wrap the product onto coilers making perfectly coiled product. The traverse has a very fine adjustment that allows the product to be layered according the product width. There is a dancer arm on the traversing beam, that dictates the speed of the spindle keeping the product taught and off the floor when winding.
Autowinder Features
A single coiling station that runs on 120VAC, that an operator can wind product manually. Its main use would be to rework product, or a starting point to wind up product. They are easy use with foot pedal control. They are variable speed with turn of a knob. They take up very little foot print on the floor. Easy to move around.
Reel Winders
A reel winder allows bigger coils to be coiled up. They have an integrated traverse to layer the product on large reels. They’re safe and efficient for high volume production runs. We also build the Wooden Reels that fit on these units.
Reel Winder Features
Coilers
We build static and collapsible coilers for winding product. The coiler allows you to wind your product to your desired coil size and then allows you to collapse the coiler and slide the product off. These units are compatible with our winders and are also able to be used on their own. We can build them to suit your needs as far as the internal diameter specification of your product. We have built them in various sizes to meet our customers needs.
Chemical Tanks
Stainless Steel Construction for corrosive products. We can modify this unit to suit your needs.
Lapper
Lappers are designed to braid yarn onto tubing to make hose. Lappers have yarn bobbins that rotate around the tubing at a high rate of speed. The number of yarn bobbins can vary from 12 to 48 depending on the application. There is a haul-off that pulls the tubing through the lapper. The haul-off dictates the deck speed, to provide the optimal braid. We have been building and designing lappers now for 20+ years. We build them to suit your needs and requirements.
